On the evening of April 30, the artistic performance was organized at the Zone 1 Square of Do Son in response to the 2018 Do Son Tourism Festival. This is the first activity in the framework of festival to welcome foreign and domestic visitors to Haiphong city.
With a range of special items performed by the famous singers and artistic troupes across the nation, the program “Do Son – the 2018 tourist destination” created an excited atmosphere for thousands of residents and visitors at the Zone 1 Square. This is the first activity in the framework of the Red Flamboyant Flower Festival – Haiphong 2018, enhancing the dissemination activities on the cultural and historic tradition of Haiphong land and people as well as the tourist potentials of Haiphong city in general and Do Son district in particular to the foreign and domestic visitors.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Haiphong People’s Committee Vice Chairman Le Khac Nam acknowledged outstanding results of Do Son district duing the past time. He also urged local authority to continue paying attention to the state budget collection, boosting socio-economic development and striving to welcome 2.7 million visitors in 2018./.
