In the evening of Apr 30th, at the seaside square of the Zone I in Do Son, the opening ceremony of the tourism festival entitled “Do Son – the tourism destination of 2017” was joyfully taken place.This was the event to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of the nation unification as well as to celebrate the 62nd anniversary of the liberation of Hai Phong (May 13th, 1955).
The artistic program “Do Son – the tourism destination of 2017” was fully coastal stylish with participation of famous singers as Trong Tan, Tung Duong, Minh Chuyen … with professional dancing groups to bring excellent and joyful impression of the eventful day of sea tourism to local people and visitors.
Said at the opening ceremony, the chairman of the People’s Committee of Do Son district, Hoang Xuan Minh stressed; tourism of Do Son has got some euphoria in 2016, Do Son welcomed 2.6 million visitors to sightsee and entertain, the infrastructure system for tourism has been more and more invested and upgraded, governmental management on tourism has been enhanced.
Right after the opening night, a lot of excitative cultural and sportive activities as; the women’s open beach volley ball tournament – Hai Phong News Paper’s cup 2017, gathering teams from localities with volley ball strength as Khanh Hoa, Da Nang, Thai Binh, Hai Duong and the host team Hai Phong …; the Dragon Boat Racing tournament on the sea of Zone I of Do Son participated by racing teams from Cat Hai, Kien Thuy districts and the host team Do Son.
