The Standing Board of the municipal Party Committee of Hai Phong had a meeting for a mutual agreement for FLC group to invest the project of “the service complex, resort, and high class ecological villas FLC Do Son”. The project is totally capitalized up 5,300 billion Vietnam Dong.

According to the design, the project shall consist of 03 main functional modules; the tourism service downtown, the 18-hole golf court, the resorts with subsidiary scenery with the total area of 500 ha.

It is remarkable that the area is created by expanding to the sea (by sand backfilling). The entire area is designated in the shape of a lotus flower with 06 petals. Buildings will be constructed on the backfilled areas staggering with sea waters. The core part will be constructed with an entertainment park, a cruising boat jetty; marine port, a five-star hotel, a six-star hotel, a shopping mall, villas, apartments, condotels.

The chairman of FLC group expected Hai Phong to support and facilitate for administration procedures and hand over the clear and clean site to start the project soon.

Said at the meeting, Mr. Le Van Thanh, secretary of the municipal Party Committee of Hai Phong confirmed that the project well offers three strategic developing trends of Hai Phong, realizing the Resolution No.332 of the Politburo upon development of the city, bringing tourism industry of Hai Phong to become the leading industry, confirming the breakthrough of the city. Presence of giant economic chaebols would help Hai Phong to be developed and be well-known.

It’s estimated that the project would be started by the end of the second quarter of 2017.
